There is / There are
Bir yerde bir şeyin var olduğunu söylemek için kullanılır:
- There is + tekil isim: There is a board in the classroom.
- There are + çoğul isim: There are twenty desks in the classroom.
- Olumsuz: There isn’t a computer. / There aren’t any maps.
- Soru: Is there a clock? → Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t.
Are there any books? → Yes, there are. / No, there aren’t.
- How many students are there? → There are twenty-eight students.

Numbers 50–100 and classroom language
Numbers: 50 fifty · 60 sixty · 70 seventy · 80 eighty · 90 ninety · 100 one hundred
- 56 → fifty-six · 73 → seventy-three · 99 → ninety-nine
⚠️ fifteen (15) – fifty (50), thirteen (13) – thirty (30) karıştırılmamalı!
